Tinn-R is a complex and powerful yet surprisingly lightweight application that gives programmers the opportunity to modify code quickly and easily. It comes equipped with support for syntax highlighting for the S statistical programming language and boasts an interface that’s superbly comfortable to work with.

It provides you with an Explorer like folder structure that’s very familiar, has an included project management area, and even comes equipped with a database panel. Tinn-R even allows you to record and play macros, view file differences with highlighting colour preferences for each language, and had various customizable setting that allow you to make the program your own with just a couple of clicks of your mouse. It uses minimal CPU and RAM and doesn’t affect your system’s performance at all when it’s running either.
