UltraFileSearch Std Portable: A simple utility that lets you quickly find files, folders and text

If you need search capabilities more advanced than the ones built into Windows, UltraFileSearch Lite Portable offers the ability to find files, folders and text very quickly, within the locations of your choice, using various filters to refine the results.

The program is portable so you can run it from your local hard drive or an external storage device. Also, no installation is required, meaning the tool will not add new entries or modify existing ones in the system registry.

The straightforward layout lets you start the scan as soon as you enter the file name and the folder that should be searched. However, you can also set the app to include subfolders and hidden folders in the search, display file and folder names, as well as append results.

To refine the search results, UltraFileSearch Lite Portable lets you search by words or phrases, use wildcards, skip hidden and system files, videos, photos and/or audio files, define the size range and time intervals such as creation date, last modification date and last accessed date.

In the results list, the program shows each item with a wealth of details, including its name, size, folder, type and attributes, extension and so on. Export options allow save the list as a TXT file and move or copy the files to a different directory.
