gPodder: Keep track and manage your podcasts subscriptions with this friendly tool

gPodder is an intuitive application that lets you keep track of the latest content available on your podcast subscriptions, allowing you to easily download episodes and explore new content.

It lets you download and play audio and video files from various types of feeds, including RSS, SoundCloud, XSPF, Vimeo and Atom feeds.

The program is exceptionally easy to setup and performs automated checks for new releases each time you run it. Should any new content be found, you will receive notifications. In the main window, you can download new files from their right-click menu and store them in a folder of your choice.

There, you can also view a summary of each episode as well as related details like the release date and file size. You can add new subscriptions manually or look them up in gPodder’s database. Most podcasts are available as audio files, and the program can sync content with your device thus you can quickly transfer these files.
