sliceOmatic: A medical imaging software solution for computing anatomical volumes

sliceOmatic is a complex medical imaging application capable of multi-slicing scanner data and computing anatomical volumes of DICOM. Applications such as sliceOmatic aim to simplify imaging scans which is usually a time-consuming, intricate process.

The application supports commonly used medical image formats, specifically DIC and DCM. It lets you load single or multiple files at once. After you load them, the images are shown in the main window and a log appears in the right-side panel.

The ‘Tools’ menu lets you take snapshots, visualize 2D pixel information and perform 3D shading tasks among others. You can choose between three different modes – 2D, Tag or 3D – although be aware you can only work with one at a time.

sliceOmatic comes with a built-in DICOM Browser, a Medi Browser and a Script Browser, of which the latter allows you to load scripts you can read in the application.
