Blink is a cross-platform index management application that is available for Windows and Linux and is designed to deliver instant, offline code search, directory file listing, or other useful features of the same type.

Since the application is portable, it means it will not require any complex installations, only need to copy and paste it to a removable drive and access it on any computer, and you can use it by running it from the home folder, drop the project into the window below the profile, type in the file extensions, profile name, etc.

Also, you will need to right-click the profile name that is visible in the GUI, click the “rebuild symbol” option, double click the profile name again to activate it, and then hit “load”.

It also supports autocomplete for queries, drag, and filenames, and it will allow the users to work with multiple projects and switch between them with ease via the individual index.
