DSPlayer is a lightweight application that offers multimedia playback capabilities, supporting a large number of audio and video formats.The interface is rather simple, altough well organized, thus it can be easily used by practically anyone. It supports popular audio and video file types, but also playlists, chapters, multiple audio streams and Direct Show filters.
Furthermore, DSPlayer offers multiple play speeds and an interface which you can customize using skins. It also lets you fast forward and fast rewind, plus it comes with a built-in audio crossfader, a radio stream ripper and a 10-band equalizer.
Almost all actions can be attributed to custom keyboard shortcuts. DSPlayer offers DVD playback and enables users to override Audio Output to all sound devices it supports.
