Hallo northern sky: An advanced planetarium that lets you explore the night sky

Hallo northern sky is a powerful planetarium software that relies on Tycho-2, SAO and PPM start databases, as well as Realsky images and numerous deepsky objects so you can explore the night sky.

Among the highlights of the application, it’s possible to import data from FITS files, navigate to a specific position in the sky, connect to ASCOM telescopes and use the built-in search.

Furthermore, Hallo northern sky enables you to access the USNO CDROM and GSC external start catalogs. It provides the option to control computerized GoTo telescope mounts and bundles a Realsky viewer DDE controlled from the main panel.

Other useful options include importing data from FITs files, printing the image currently displayed in the main panel, save data to HNS file and editing the information about comets and asteroids using the built-in text editors.
