TomTom HOME is a robust application that allows you to update the content of your TomTom device, a popular automotive navigation system.

Once you connect the TomTom device to your PC, the program will automatically detect it and allow you to manage maps and other types of content in a convenient manner.

In the main window, TomTom Home provides all the supported features organized into categories. You can purchase various maps to update the routes for specific countries, receive warnings when approaching safety cameras, as well as receive traffic reports in real-time on your navigation device.

In the 'Add Traffic, Voices, and other services' section you can store TXT and HTML files on your navigation device, view fuel prices for each gas station, and add your favorite songs and photos.

To remove files from your device you can use the 'Manage my device' function to view all the listed items and remove the ones you no longer need. The TomTom Planner function enables you to create an itinerary by setting a starting and a destination point after which the route will be automatically calculated. The program can provide driving directions and will display the total amount of time needed to travel between the set points also taking traffic delay into account.
